Yes — bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is available in our shop as a research supply. It's sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth and is used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides for in-vitro research. Add it to your order at /product/ba-rec-water.

Q: How should I store the lyophilized product?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at −20°C indefinitely and remain stable at room temperature short-term for transit. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate the solution at 2–8°C and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles on reconstituted material — they degrade peptide integrity over time.

Every Lumen Peppers shipment includes free damage protection on the vial and packaging in transit. If your order arrives with a broken seal, cracked vial, or compromised outer packaging, email hello@lumenpeppers.com with clear photos of the issue and your order number — we'll send a replacement at no cost.
